Lunch with the Pastor

One of our favorite ways to get to know someone new is at the “kitchen table!” The first Sunday of each month, Pastor Craig, his wife Beth, and a few members of our church go out to lunch after church with any visitors who are interested in learning more about Village Church East. We promise, we won’t ask you intrusive questions… we’d love to just take you to lunch and get to know you!
Village Women: Galatians Bible Study
Final Session May 9 | 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Village Church East
“We long for peace, to have lives marked by freedom from difficulty and pain. We look to countless places to fill this need—our possessions, relationships, intellect, spirituality, political affiliations, and so on. But, by relying on these things for freedom, we unintentionally make them our savior instead of Christ. This exchange leaves us enslaved to a false gospel and to the very things we hoped would set us free.
In this 8-session study on the book of Galatians, author and Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson reveals that the struggle to fully embrace our freedom in Christ is not a new problem. Walking verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter, Elizabeth highlights how this letter teaches us that in the gospel alone do we gain what we desire—freedom from sin and freedom to experience true peace, living the abundant life Jesus offers.”
Men’s Breakfast

Men, this monthly event is just for you! Come together over breakfast for a time of prayer and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to get to know other men from VCE, or to bring a friend. If it’s your first time attending, then breakfast is on us! See Darren Gruett with any questions.
Graduation Sunday

Join us in celebrating our young adults graduating from high school and college in 2026! We look forward to hearing about their upcoming plans and praying over them as they move into new phases of life.
EDGE Youth Group
2nd and 4th Sundays | 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Village Church East
Edge, our Village Students ministry, is for students in 6th – 12th Grade. Village Students exists to bring about intentional transformation in students’ lives. At Edge, we intentionally create experiences that unite students, ignite passion for Christ, and develop skills make disciples.
Our Edge Youth Group generally meets 2nd and 4th Sundays after church. Regular meeting location is at VCE, but special events may take students elsewhere in the community. Contact Craig Jarvis or Jessica Foster for more details or other upcoming events.
Bridgeway Outreach
For many years, VCE has been building a relationship with the residents at Bridgeway Senior Community in Bensenville. Our current outreach includes hosting regular worship services and monthly social events. With your listening ear and smile, you can bring the love and joy of Jesus to these special brothers and sisters. To learn more about how you can get involved, click the button below.
Perennials

Perennials is a ministry gathering for those who are 55+, able to meet during the daytime and committed to long-term growth as followers of Jesus Christ.
