Men, this monthly event is just for you! Come together over breakfast for a time of prayer and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to get to know other men from VCE, or to bring a friend. If it’s your first time attending, then breakfast is on us! See Darren Gruett with any questions.
Village Women: Galatians Bible Study
Starting January 24 | 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Village Church East
“We long for peace, to have lives marked by freedom from difficulty and pain. We look to countless places to fill this need—our possessions, relationships, intellect, spirituality, political affiliations, and so on. But, by relying on these things for freedom, we unintentionally make them our savior instead of Christ. This exchange leaves us enslaved to a false gospel and to the very things we hoped would set us free.
In this 8-session study on the book of Galatians, author and Bible teacher Elizabeth Woodson reveals that the struggle to fully embrace our freedom in Christ is not a new problem. Walking verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter, Elizabeth highlights how this letter teaches us that in the gospel alone do we gain what we desire—freedom from sin and freedom to experience true peace, living the abundant life Jesus offers.”
We hope that you will join us starting on January 24 for this in-depth look at the book of Galatians. Our discussion will begin at 9:30 a.m., but come earlier for snacks and fellowship! Baptism Class

Lunch with the Pastor

One of our favorite ways to get to know someone new is at the “kitchen table!” The first Sunday of each month, Pastor Craig, his wife Beth, and a few members of our church go out to lunch after church with any visitors who are interested in learning more about Village Church East. We promise, we won’t ask you intrusive questions… we’d love to just take you to lunch and get to know you!
Village Men: No Regrets Men’s Conference
February 7 | 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Village Church East
The 2026 No Regrets Men’s Conference will be live-streamed at Village Church East in Carol Stream and co-hosted by Village Church East and Village Church of Bartlett. This event will challenge all men to present their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God (Romans 12:1). We’ll have worship, teaching, breakout sessions, snacks, and a great time of fellowship. This conference is open to high school and up. We hope to see you there.
Bridgeway Outreach
For many years, VCE has been building a relationship with the residents at Bridgeway Senior Community in Bensenville. Our current outreach includes hosting regular worship services and monthly social events. Perennials is a ministry gathering for those who are 55+, able to meet during the daytime and committed to long-term growth as followers of Jesus Christ.
