Last year, Village Church East assisted the Carol Stream Social Services department in filling 100 backpacks for local students. And this year we hope to double that amount! Your donations will help us bless underprivileged students, many of whom belong to Newcomer families, and bring joy to the start of their school year.

Monetary donations can be made using the link below, or you can bring new school supplies to one of our three donation bins – VCE, Fountain View, and the Carol Stream Library.

School supplies will be collected from June 1 through July 20. See the links above for what supplies we are collecting and our current donation totals.

Our packing event will happen on Thursday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the church.

We will be distributing backpacks at the four apartment complexes on the following dates:

• Carolwood Apartments:  Wednesday, July 30, 11:30-1pm
• Quail Run Apartments:  Thursday, August 7, 11:30-1pm
• Village Brook Apartments:  TBD (usually first or second Sunday in August)
• Wood Springs Suites Engagement: Drop-off at the hotel between August 11 & 14
