Serving Our Neighbors and Growing as Disciples of Jesus
Local Outreach partners with local organizations, schools, and social workers to serve the vulnerable populations in Carol Stream and the surrounding area. By mobilizing our church body to serve, our goal is to build bridges in our community through relationships and care, while giving the people in our church opportunities to grow as disciples of Jesus.
Year-Round Outreach Opportunities
Church at Bridgeway
For many years, VCE has been building a relationship with the residents at Bridgeway Senior Community in Bensenville. Our current outreach includes hosting regular worship services and monthly social events. With your listening ear and smile, you can bring the love and joy of Jesus to these special brothers and sisters.
Upcoming dates:
October 12 – Pumpkin Fest – 1:30-2:30 pm
October 22 – Worship Service – 1:30-2:30 pm
Community Care Team
Village Church East has developed a relationship with the Carol Stream Social Services department. Occasionally they inform us of needs in the community that they are not able to meet. Being part of the Community Care Team allows you to serve these individuals and families when they need it most.
Fill out the form below if you are willing to be contacted about these service opportunities when they arise.

Devote Yourself To Good
We help others and devote ourselves to good not because it guarantees us salvation, but for two distinct reasons. First, Jesus tells us to serve others, and He modeled it in His life on earth. Second, because good works naturally flow out of us as an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, who continually works in us to make us more like Christ.
