Intentional Giving Card
As our Elders prepare to create our budget for 2025 (and beyond), we ask that you prayerfully consider what you can commit to giving to VCE over the next three years. Communicating this information with us will allow us to ensure we have the funding we need to make the move to a new location, as well as continue serving our church family and community with excellence. If you have questions about this form, or about our general finances, please reach out to our Elder team.
Presence Project 2024
Funding a 24/7 Presence for VCE in Carol Stream
At Village Church East, one of our core values has always been serving our community. We want Carol Stream to know we’re here! That’s why we’re so excited for the possibility of a having a building to call our own. It would give us so many more opportunities to engage with our neighbors and meet their needs. This holiday season, would you contribute to that mission?
Donations towards our building fund will be used for necessary renovations to our future space. Our goal is to raise $12,500 and bring our building fund to a total of $20,000.
Men’s Breakfast

Men, this monthly event is just for you! Come together over breakfast for a time of prayer and fellowship. This is a great opportunity to get to know other men from VCE, or to bring a friend. If it’s your first time attending, then breakfast is on us! See Darren Gruett with any questions.
Reception for Sean & Morgan

Please help us celebrate soon-to-be newlyweds Sean & Morgan with a cake reception after the service on Sunday, December 22. We hope you will stick around and congratulate this special couple! We look forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior with our family at Village Church of Bartlett. Join us at one of our three candlelight services. All ages are encouraged to attend. Village Kids will be open to children Ages 0 – Pre-K during all three of our services.
Sunday Worship at Bartlett

Spend the final Sunday of 2024 with our brothers and sisters at our Bartlett location. Pastor Craig will be preaching at all three services. We look forward to worshiping together! One of our favorite ways to get to know someone new is at the “kitchen table!” The first Sunday of each month, Pastor Craig, his wife Beth, and a few members of our church go out to lunch after church with any visitors who are interested in learning more about Village Church East. We promise, we won’t ask you intrusive questions… we’d love to just take you to lunch and get to know you!
Village Women: Esther Study
Starting January 25 | 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Home of Beth Jarvis
In this 7-session study, Kelly Minter invites you into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai—a faith developed over time, rooted in the goodness of God, lived out through extraordinary circumstances, and used to change the world. Although our time looks different from Esther’s, our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called you for such a time as this.
Books are also available for purchase for those who can’t attend a group but want to study along.
Legacy Grandparenting Summit
February 21-22 | Village Church of Bartlett
The Legacy Grandparenting Summit in February 2025, themed “For This Purpose,” is designed to inspire and encourage grandparents to embrace their biblical role, provide an incredible experience through top-notch speakers and practical topics, and give great ideas for grandparenting grandchildren of all ages. Participate in this conference virtually by attending this two-day event.
EDGE Youth Group
2nd & 4th Sundays | 1:00 p.m. | The Oasis
Edge, our Village Students ministry, is for students in 6th – 12th Grade. Village Students exists to bring about intentional transformation in students’ lives. At Edge, we intentionally create experiences that unite students, ignite passion for Christ, and develop skills make disciples.
Our Edge Youth Group generally meets on the second and fourth Sundays of every month, from 1 – 3 pm. Regular meeting location is the Oasis, but special events may take students elsewhere in the community. Contact Craig Jarvis or Jessica Foster for more details or other upcoming events.
Bridgeway Outreach
For many years, VCE has been building a relationship with the residents at Bridgeway Senior Community in Bensenville. Our current outreach includes hosting regular worship services and monthly social events. Perennials
Monthly – 3rd Thursday | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Village Church of Bartlett
Perennials is a ministry gathering for those who are 55+, able to meet during the daytime and committed to long-term growth as followers of Jesus Christ. We gather on the third Thursday of each month for fellowship, teaching, prayer, and fun. Click the button below for our monthly topics and future meeting dates.
